What is the MWV1322HDS?

The MAXRAD/PCTEL MWV1322HDS is a roof Mount mobile antenna. The antenna is 48″ long (at lowest frequency), Wideband VHF 132-174 MHz, tunable, with an NMO mount. This antenna does not require a ground plane.

Why Choose the MWV1322HDS?

This whip style no ground plane roof mount antenna is tunable, meaning needs to be cut down to length of the center transmit frequency that you will be using. This is ideal for installations where there is not a ground place created by a metal roof. Use with an L Bracket or standard NMO on a non-metallic roof. Once tuned just mount to the vehicle using an NMO mount and away you go. The antenna includes a spring at the base to allow the antenna to flex when driving under low hanging branches.
